You probably already know my passion for the ocean, since I often post beach houses and homes with ocean views here. When I saw this house and its views I wondered how great would it be to wake up every day and see these expansive views.
If you also love ocean views, this house is a place you’ll admire. The interiors are pure elegance with very stylish and redefined furnishings. I also like how organized everything seems to be. Do you know those places that seems to be impeccable at any time of the day? I’m not sure if that’s realistic, but this house gives me the impression that it is like that all the time. I think what gives me this impression are the very tailored room. I guess the more tailored your rooms are, the more organized and perfect they look.

A Living Room with a View
The furnishings are so well chosen in this room and they don’t compete with the gorgeous views because they were kept low and neutral.
Vintage & Arts
The two vintage gold leaf candle chandelier add some charm to this formal dining room. The limestone floors are also very beautiful.

This color accentuates the architectural details.
Library
Recipe for a perfect library: built-in bookshelves, custom fireplace, French doors to a private patio and glorious views.
Cooking with Class
Herringbone patterned quarter sewn oak floors are a lovely detail to a beautiful kitchen. We can’t miss the Le Cornue range and hood with copper details, plus the ocean views.
Sitting Area
The outdoor fireplace is perfect for the chilly nights and the outdoor furniture seems to be comfortable enough to afford hours of fun.
House & Pool
The exterior seems to be as impeccable as the interior of this house.

Don’t you agree with me when I say that everything seems to be perfectly placed in this house?
I used to be very picky about my house when I first got married and even before that. My house couldn’t have anything misplaced. I think that behavior had to be slowly adjusted and adapted after we had kids. I noticed that I was spending too much time and energy trying to keep my house looking as organized as before and it wasn’t fun, not for me or even for my kids. I realized that it’s okay and even normal to have toys around the house at some point, as long everything gets put in its place at the end of the day. You’re probably asking what it has to do with this post. My point is, I love a house just like that one above, totally perfect, but sometimes I know it’s hard to achieve that “perfection” and we shouldn’t feel guilty if we can’t achieve it at some point in our lives. The more I live, the more I realize that I need to have some rooms that are as organized as possible, but I also know it’s important to have a normal home, where not only I feel comfortable in it, but also every person that lives in my house. The kids, my husband, everyone should have their space, so together we make of our house, a home. A place we all feel comfortable and happy at.
