This beach house was originally built in 1919 on Coronado Island just over the bridge from San Diego, California. The beach house went through an extensive renovation – the walls were taken down to the studs and the entire floor plan was redesigned. The only original interior detail is the staircase.
Designed by Kim Grant Design Inc., this home now exudes elegance with relaxing and well-appointed interiors that seem to embrace its breathtaking ocean views with a soothing color palette of light blues, white and soft tans.
I hope you enjoy seeing this house tour with me today.

I can’t remember what this house looked like before the remodel. It just kills me but when I was first married houses along Ocean Blvd. sold for $140,000 and we didn’t have the money to buy one. I’ve attended many interior design showhouses along that street. Also used to run on the beach — it is my favorite beach. Really miss Coronado.
This home would make me move to the West Coast. Prairie in style? Love!
