Do you know that feeling when you see a house and you feel so curious to know how it looks inside? I often feel that way when I see homes that inspire me, that have a beautiful and inviting facade. This house makes me feel this way. I liked seeing the classic architecture in a brand new house and I was curious to know if they’ve brought its charm to the interiors.
You can easily imagine a happy family living in this home and this home was designed with family in mind. The kitchen and the family room are well-designed and have a very warm feeling, while the master bedroom and bathroom have a more modern and luxurious feel to them.
This house was built and designed by Great Neigborhood Homes and pictures are by VHT via Houzz.
I hope you enjoy seeing this beautiful family home with me today.
Front Door
Traditional and welcoming.
Entrance
The foyer embraces the whole house. The light fixtures can be found here.
Open
A nice view of the family room.
One question: Do you like entering a house and being able to see it all, or do you prefer having more privacy?
Home Office
I really like the color palette in this room.
Do you guys still like antlers or do you think it’s overdone?
Dining Room
This house was staged (new construction) and that explains why window treatments weren’t installed everywhere. I still like this room, especially the chandelier and chairs.
Living Room
Oh, I simply love this room. It’s calm and stylish.
Fireplace
The fireplace is very unique and it has a timeless feel to it.
Open Concept
I can imagine a family happily living in this comfortable space.
Floor Plan
The countertop on the island seems to be Ceasarstone Classico, color Ivory. Also, the edge is laminated so it is thicker and appears to be approximately 2 1/2″.
Kitchen Design
The design of this kitchen is clean yet warm.
Shiny
Beautiful backsplash.
Faucet
Unique faucet. Share with us if you know the source. π
Kitchen Love
Pendants are by one of my favorite light fixture sources: Visual Comfort.
Hood
This custom made hood is very interesting.
Eating Area
I always love seeing banquettes/window seat in eating areas. Stunning chairs.
Mud Room
How many of us need a mud room like this, right? I love the floors.
Mezzanine
Notice the beautiful light fixtures and the ceiling details.
Master Bedroom
The color on the walls are very deep. I believe it’s “London Fog” by Benjamin Moore (to be confirmed).
Tray Ceiling
Beautifully designed.
Connected
Aren’t you loving this bathroom too?
Lights
Spacious.
Bath
I’m dreaming with a bathtub like this one.
Guest Bedroom
The bedding is by Crate & Barrel.
Purple
You don’t need to paint all the walls purple! Bedding by Crate & Barrel.
Basement
Invite your friends over. There’s enough space for everyone.
Bar
I love the barstools and the wall color.

What are your thoughts about this house? Is there a room you liked the most? I’m really dreaming that bathroom. I want that bathtub! π
Did you guys have a good weekend? I worked a lot and spent too much money! LOL I decided to change our bedding, from pillows, to sheets, duvet, everything! I wanted to have everything fresh and also, I wanted to add some new colors and textures in our bedrooms. Do you know that urge to change things around the house?
I feel happy every time I enter my bedroom and the kids bedrooms now and I’m sleeping like a baby… actually, even better!
Wishing you all a very peaceful, safe and healthy week.
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit me today. π

Hi Luciane! What a great home, good bones and a happy vibe. Love the openness and sunlight…really has a great feeling about it, warm and welcoming!
Love this home and yes I like walking in and being able to see the whole downstairs. Our home is individual rooms so I think that’s why I like the openness. Sorry I’ve been so quiet latlely this is my very busy time of the year in my business. I just found your email yesterday in my spam folder so sorry I missed answering back to you.
I hope you’re having a wonderful end to the summer.

Lovely home Luciane, thanks. I love the openness and the fact that the staircase does not intrude into the space. Antlers are not for me, and I love the fireplace surround and just about everything in this house. Have a good week.
I love how you show us so many different and unique home interiors. It keeps me interested and coming back to see more. Come over and visit-I have a post full of fall glamour I think you would like and my next post features my total bed makeover.
loving that range hood!
smiles to you and hope you will visit soon.

I LOVE that house! The interior is a LOT more roomy than the outside leads you to believe. I could live there just the way it is, minus the antlers. lol
I am loving everything about this home. I would love to have a cottage like this to retire in in North Carolina on the water. I would put a bunk room in the basement for all my (future) grandbabies. Where is the home located?
This one is probably an all time favorite….I do say that alot though with almost every new post…but really I DO love this one with all my heart!
Just catching up on blogs from when I was on vacation, so glad I went back because I LOVE this home! It’s actually in my city and I’ve even been INSIDE! The real thing is even better than the pictures! The designer did such a great job, I loved the fun colors and fabric choices. But the design of the home was so family friendly and functional! I know whoever lives there must be so happy!
Faucet looks like a Koehler that I just took a pick of- love it too! Great house – elegant but not over the top
Hello! I love that blue in the bathroom and bedroom! Did you confirm what shade of paint it was? I am painting my living room this week (dry wall is almost ready to be primed!!!) and am searching for a blue gray, and this one is perfect! Any help is greatly appreciated!
Just wanted to say– the grey on those walls does not look like London Fog to me- our foyer is London Fog and it’s definitely not that dark. London Fog comes out gre-ige, more tan than grey.
Thank you so much for sharing this with us, Karima! I appreciate it.
