Designed by New Old, LLC, this farmhouse inspired home was designed with great attention to detail.
The interiors of this 4003 sqft farmhouse beautifully mix transitional design with rustic materials such as reclaimed wooden beams and antique heart pine hardwood flooring. The kitchen and bathroom elevates this house, with its beautiful millwork and custom cabinetry.

Farmhouse Inspired Design
Authentic! The cabinet and trim color in this farmhouse kitchen is “Sherwin Williams 7562 Roman Column”, a beautiful cream white that is does not have any heavy yellow undertones.
Kitchen with Reclaimed Beams
This kitchen has so many great features! Take for example the solid wood counter stools. The stools are from a great little store in Fort Mill, SC – “The Nest Furnishings”. Also, notice the gorgeous reclaimed beams. They bring warmth and texture to this new kitchen.
Kitchen Countertop
Did you notice that granite is making its way back? Granite is a very hard stone, therefore, very durable and perfect for kitchen countertop.
The countertops in this kitchen are “Tropic Brown granite”.
Wall Paint Color
Benjamin Moore LaPaloma 1551.
Eating Nook
The eating nook is cozy and stylish!
The light fixture is “Circus Wire Cage Lantern from Shades of Light”.
Butler’s Pantry
A small, but well-designed butler’s pantry is just off the kitchen, leading to the outdoors.
Door is from Rogue Valley Doors.
Dining Room
I always like seeing a warm dining room and this one has a great color palette. Anyone could easily feel welcomed in this space.
The chandelier is the “Patricia Chandelier-Coco Beads/Gold by Made Goods”.
Wall Color: The wall color is “Chelsea Gray HC-168 by Benjamin Moore”
Trim: “Sherwin Williams Roman Column”.
Guest Bathroom
I like the simplicity and authenticity you get from this space.
The faucet is part of the “American Standard Town Square” collection in oil rubbed bronze.
Beadboard Design Specifications by the Interior Designer: “This is my favorite size of beadboard and is actually 3 1/4” wide which you can have custom milled by the plank or buy in mdf panels. The only vender that I have found that carries this size beadboard in panels local to Charlotte is “ITC Millwork” in Indian Trail, NC. An easier option with a very nice look is to buy planks with the standard 2 1/4″ beadboard – most lumber supply houses carry these. The 2 1/4″ size is still oversized (from the 1″ or 1 1/4″ versions you find in the DIY hardware type stores) and also has a nice deep bead.”
The mirror is from “World Market”.
Reading Nook
I have to say that I love reading nooks and this one was really well done. The cubbies under the window-seat are perfect for baskets and the shelving on the side adds even more storage space.
Master Bedroom
Charming and sophisticated, the master bedroom brings feminine colors (in this picture) such as lavender against dark gray walls. I am loving this fresh look!
Paint Color: “Benjamin Moore Chelsea Gray HC-168”
Battens are 22″ or 24″ apart in this bedroom.
Bed & Bedding
Bed is the “Churchill Fabric Sleigh bed without footboard” from “Restoration Hardware”.
The bedspread is from Anthropology.
Bathroom
Paint Color: “Benjamin Moore tranquility AF-490”
This bathroom feels classic and elegant.
The vanity was custom made for this home.
Flooring
Floors are antique heart pine with a clear finish.
Batten Love
The battens are placed at 22″ apart.
This is a volcanic limestone tub from Victoria & Albert’s traditional collection.
The trim and cabinet paint are “Sherwin Williams Roman Column”.
The vanity stool is from “Wisteria”.
Shower Tiles
Interesting and fresh mix of marble with glass tiles. This feels classic and modern at the same time.
Patio
This outdoor space is gorgeous! From the brick fireplace to the lush gardens.
Similar outdoor sofa can be found at Restoration Hardware.
Exterior Paint Color Pallet
The exterior colors are “Sherwin Williams Khaki Shade 7533” for the siding and “Sherwin Williams Summer White 7557” for the trim.
The roof is “Tamko Heritage Series in Black” and the shutters are western red cedar with a 50/50 mix of Provincial & Cherry “Minwax” stain.
