As summer continues, it’s very easy to imagine ourselves packing our bags and saying goodbye to all of the noise of our daily life and going to a quiet place by the sea. Wouldn’t you love to do that? Many of us would, this why this is one of the busiest times of the year to buy a vacation property and if you think about vacation, chances are that Florida will come to your mind, especially if you love gorgeous beach houses and sandy beaches. Living by the sea, I have to say that I am used to seeing quaint shingle beach cottages and casual beach houses, but and an interior designer, I can’t help but love seeing all the stunning, multi-million beach houses for sale in Florida.
This six-bedroom, seven-bathroom dream beach house is located south of Scenic 30A and fronts one of Alys Beach’s gorgeous walking paths. Newly constructed by well-known builder Stan Benecki, builder of the Coastal Living Dream Home in Rosemary Beach and with interiors by Jan Ware of Jan Ware Designs, LLC, this phenomenal home features a private pool and courtyard, top-of-the-line finishes and appliances and spaces that feel connected and in complete harmony.

The architecture of this beach house is truly impressive. The shutters paint color is “Benjamin Moore 1564 Beach Glass”.
Make sure to notice the fountain in the courtyard. Isn’t it enchanting?
Front Door
The gray front door paint is a custom mix.
Living Room Lighting: Custom gilded iron lantern by Jan Ware Designs.
Furniture is custom and ordered through Jan Ware Designs, LLC as well.
Paint Color
The wall color throughout the house is Benjamin Moore Snowfall White, coated with a Venetian plaster finish.
Dining Room
Oak wood paneling detailed by architect Yong Pak line the dining room walls.
Dining Room Chandelier: Low Country Originals.
Kitchen Lighting
I love this neutral kitchen! The lighting brings character and some sparkles to this space.
Lighting above island is Mr. Brown Constellation Chandelier by Mr. Brown Home – $1,908.00 each.
Cabinets
The kitchen features Bleached White oak – Cerused Oak Cabinets in natural finish.
Most appliances were paneled while the kitchen hood was built from wood and plastered.
Cabinet Hardware
Cabinet Hardware: Provided by Finishes and Fixtures – Birmingham, Alabama. Finish is English Bronze.
The kitchen countertops and backsplash are Bel Air Limestone.
The kitchen also has two SubZero freezers and refrigerators and two dishwashers. I would love to cook in here!
Breakfast Nook
An elegant breakfast nook with custom furniture is located off the kitchen, facing the pool.
A door between the kitchen and breakfast room features a butler’s pantry with microwave, ice maker, and wine fridge, as well as additional cabinetry.
Door hardware is Ashley Norton – MS Escutcheon with Newport Lever. Finish: White Bronze Patina.
Family Room
I love the comfortable, casual furniture featured in the family room. Isn’t this space inviting?
Chandelier
Chandelier is a Noir Wave Chandelier Vintage Grey – $1,368.00
The construction on this home is top of the line with solid, thick interior doors, additional insulation, high-end, efficient Carrier Infinity AC system with multiple zone controls, a whole house AV system with Control 4 to control everything including the lighting, as well as audio in every room in addition to the outside just to name a few.
Sitting Area
At the top of the stairs on the second level, a sitting room is available for movies or watching the big game. Premium hardwood flooring runs throughout the second floor living areas.
Flooring is bleached white oak.
Master Bedroom
The master bedroom is located on the front of the home has a private balcony with views of the gulf.
The gorgeous lighting is Barbara Cosgrove Pendant Sphere in Antique Brass – $800
Desk
A built-in desk is located just off the master bedroom by the walk-in closet (see it in the picture above – on right).

Neutral Guest Bedroom
Neutral colors and plenty of textures create a warm and inviting space for guests in this bedroom.

This small bathroom has a calm and serene feel… notice the cabinetry design.
The Whole Package
Alys Beach is ideally located at the western end of Scenic 30A, walking distance to Rosemary Beach. Shops, restaurants, tennis, exercise facilities, and the amazing Caliza pool make this community great for full-time or second home living. Owners at Alys also get beach chair service, along with towel service at Caliza pool and the beach. Owners can also get food, beer and wine delivered to them at the beach as well.

For 5 million, the kitchen is truly inadequate. No microwave, no wall ovens, no real storage for groceries and dishes. There are no fans in the house for air movement/mold prevention, either. Some may find the pool area claustrophobic. Regardless, you always show interesting houses on your blog!
