This exquisite French-Inspired home has timeless architecture and finishes. Having every detail well thought out, this spectacular home includes a custom French-inspired kitchen, a charming dining room, library, family room, practical laundry, incredible 55 foot gallery with groin vault ceilings, several fireplaces and not to mention a beautiful pool and landscaping area.
The decor in some rooms could use some help perhaps, but what really made me fall in love with this house is the kitchen and the eating area. I feel completely inspired by them.
This French-inspired home is currently on the market for $4,995,000. Take a look and let me know if it’s worth every penny!
French-Inspired Home
Stunning architecture.
Foyer
This is a very classic foyer. I love the floors and the millwork around the front door.
Dining Room
It feels a little too formal for me. I’d like to see upholstered chairs in an elegant fabric or linen. Other than that, it’s a fabulous room.
Chandelier
The living room opens to the foyer and to the butler’s pantry.
Butler’s Pantry
Great storage.
Hallway
Beautiful floors.
Living Room
I’d have to make some minor changes with the decor, but I love the architecture of this room.
Architecture
Another sneak-peak of the butler’s pantry.
Door
This beautiful door leads to the wine room.
Looking Back
The bench adds interest to the hallway.
Family Room
What a fabulous space!
Beams & Arches
The beams and the arched doors are incredible!
For the Family
Floor to ceiling fireplace and beautiful built-ins.
Powder Room
The powder room is full of personality. Great vanity.
Kitchen
This kitchen is perfect in every detail and this is the reason I wanted to share this post with you today.
Cabinets
Lovely glazed cabinets.
Island
I love the shape of this island and its feet.
Hood
Classic designed hood. Notice the baskets in the island. Great easy-to-find storage.
Eating Area
Isn’t it a dreamy kitchen? I also love the fireplace in the eating area. It add coziness…
French-Inspired
The eating area is beautifully designed and it feels very intimate.
Master Bedroom
Spacious and serene.
Frames
I love how these frames bring your eyes up to the ceiling.
Bathroom
The neutral pallet of the master bedroom was brought to the ensuite.
Classic
I really like the idea of using a chaise here. It brings comfort and the space doesn’t feel empty/cold.
Lounge Area
The upper floor has a expansive recreational area.
Play
I need this space in my house! I love how it was divided as a lounge area and as a home office/craft area.
Craft Area
Isn’t it a great space? Lots of storage.
Guest Bedroom
Stunning beds.
Balcony
A great place to relax and hear the birds… π
Home Office
Great usage of space.
Laundry Room
I see these huge laundry rooms and I feel sorry for mine! I have a well designed space, but with three kids, I need more storage and more machines! π This is a fabulous laundry room.
Loggia
Bring a cup of cocoa and let’s talk by the fire…
Arches
Okay… maybe we should reupholster these chairs first! π
Pool Area
Safe and very charming.
Garden
I love this garden.
Backyard
Room for the kids to run.
Aren’t these trees majestic?
Back of the House

What do you think of this house? Is it worth $4,995,000?
Are you guys excited for the Holidays? I love this time of the year… I know it can be stressful at times because it feels we’re running from one store to the other, then, we come back home and have to find time to decorate a tree, the mantel, this room, that room… oh, and not to mention the gifts! How many rolls of wrapping paper have you used so far?
Do we ever stop to actually enjoy all we’re preparing?
I used to be just like that. I used to worry about every single detail, every room of my house, every person I know. I have to say that I still care and I still get my house beautifully decorated, but I don’t overdo anything anymore. I’m taking my time, I’m stopping to see how my house looks, how my family feels and how I feel when I see all the decor.
I’m slowing down and enjoying this season and this is proving to be one of the best gifts I can give to my kids, to my family.
If you haven’t done everything yet, don’t pressure yourself. Having the most perfect house isn’t the most important thing. The most important thing is not sacrifice anyone’s mood to get there. The most important thing is to laugh and have the time to share some good moments. Make of that your main goal.

I love this time of year. I love Christmas. This year I have not bought anything for Christmas, but I do not care, because we give away for Epiphany, January, so I have time.
Definitely what I like about this house is the playroom. The kitchen is great and the master room, but overall it’s too classic for me.

A huge big kiss
I love this post. I look forward to reading your blog every time you post. This house is simply beautiful. Have a wonderful holiday and mostly enjoy your time with your children. As a mother of four boys, I miss terribly that they aren’t little anymore.
You are a smart cookie to know to take your time, and take it all in without overdoing it or pushing yourself too hard! I should listen to your advice:) This is a beautiful home, some parts feel like it needs to warmed up a bit but its lovely and elegant..and you know I love French style homes!
