Shingle style homes has that welcoming, “family home” feeling that I love.
Living Room
The living room feels classy yet comfortable. I’d like to bring more color in, but the neutral pallet makes the space feel calm and relaxed.
Dining Room
I feel completely inspired by this dining room. Using two tables is an interesting idea. You can use only one table for a more intimate dinner or bring the second table together for more space when having a bigger number of people over for dinner.
Kitchen
This is a big kitchen! I like the two islands and the window treatments.
Master Bedroom
I really like the feel you get from this space. It’s serene and inviting. I know I’d make some small changes, but this space is fantastic. Oh, don’t you adore those ottomans?
Bathroom
This is perfect! I know that many people love having enormous bathrooms, but I think this is the perfect size for it. I like bathrooms to feel spacious, but cozy at the same time.
Little Girl
I think this room could be more interesting, but it’s a lovely room for a little girl. Cute light fixture.
Little Boy
Oh, what a lucky boy!!! I adore this room.
Media Room
Neutral and fun!
Patio
What a peaceful place. It makes me miss dining outdoors. Notice the fans. They’re great to cool you down during summer and make the bugs bug somewhere else. 🙂
Pool
The gunite pool is serviced by a proper pool house.

Did you have a good weekend? I still have my Christmas tree up! Please, tell me I’m not the only one. Am I??? LOL The kids asked me to keep it and I was grateful they did. It seems this weekend went by too fast and I cared less about things I had to do and instead, did more what I wanted to do. When do I ever do that? Almost never… but I did it my way this weekend. Ha! 😉
Now, let’s go back to work, but always remembering to enjoy life.
Honestly… don’t wait for anything to happen to start enjoying life. You deserve to feel happy now.

Beautiful home. I’m a little like you are. If I had 20 mil I’d be tempted to do it myself. We just took our tree down this past Saturday. I loved every minute of keeping it up.
