What comes to your mind when August starts? For me, I get in a rush to enjoy the month and the sunshine as much as I can before school starts and yes, school is just around the corner. As a mother of three, I understand that many of us can’t wait for this day to come and have the kids back on a normal schedule but I have to say that I do love having my kiddos around the house, maybe it’s because they’re bigger and more independent now, but nothing makes me happier than knowing that we all are together.
When it comes to home decor, I am starting to tone it down a notch on colors these days. It might be because I am entering the Autumn mood or simply because the new earthy trends are speaking to my heart lately.
So, here are my favorite home decor and furniture picks for this month… Most are muted and calming and maybe this is just the way we want the house to feel after the kids go back to school. 🙂
