Happy New Year! Wow, Cheers to 2023!!! This will be such a fantastic year where we will be healthy, prosperous and happy.
With the beginning of the new year, many of us crave some sort of change and that often starts within ourselves. We aim to eat healthier, to stress less and to start enjoying life the way we envision. In my opinion, nothing matters more than having a well-balanced life, where we are focused on our goals but also understanding that life oscillates and we need to be flexible and kind to ourselves. We all have our struggles and no one has a perfect life – no matter how hard Instagram tries to make us believe otherwise – and we need to remind ourselves that we are trying our best. For me, as soon as Christmas is over, I feel a huge urge to clean my entire house and keep it free of clutter as much as I can. This is the way I feel more centered and capable of thinking more clearly. The state of my home hugely affects my mind. Do you feel the same way?
As you know, I share my “Favorite Picks” on every first day of each month and January 1st for me has many meanings, but one is the fact that I try to envision how I want my life to be, and for me, my home is an extension of who I am, along with my family. For this year, I plan to continue creating a home that feels, more than anything, comfortable and easy on the eye. I don’t like hardness and stuffiness. I don’t want a home that feels busy and full of things that are there just because… I want a meaningful home where I feel that I belong.
I believe that all of our surroundings are connect to us and impact the way we live and how we feel about our lives and it’s with that in mind that I am sharing this “Favorite Picks” for the new year, with the hope it will inspire you to create a home where you live well and feel balanced. A home that allows and encourages you to feel healthy… mind, body and soul.
