Located in the coastal community of San Diego, California, and designed by Tracy Lynn Studio, this home recently went through a major renovation. The clients longed for a beautiful home that was also functional for their entire family, including their young children. Keeping practicality in mind, the vision for the home was a clean and contemporary look with touches of organic natural materials and a hint of coastal. The cool tones of the grey, white and blue color palate helped to create a serene and peaceful environment that could serve as a retreat from the busy world outside.
Some special interior design features include the large custom stone fireplace in the formal living room, family photo wall in the great room and succulent wall in the kitchen. A trendy and playful powder room, inspired by a vintage school bathroom, can be found just off the mudroom downstairs.
This home feels neutral yet not too serious where anyone, of any age, can surely feel right at home.

This white and grey kitchen is perfect for a family with kids! It certainly is stylish, but also practical. White marble-looking quartz countertop keeps the look classic without the maintenance of real stone.

Pendants are Urban Electric – Globus Pendants with polished nickel and partially etched. The marble-looking counterorp is by Caesarstone.
The kitchen white cabinet paint color is Benjamin Moore White Dove White. The grey island paint color is Dorian Gray SW 7017 Sherwin Williams.
