The weekend is basically here and thankfully things start to slow down. At the end of every week, my mind needs a break from all the noise and for that I always choose to find a quiet spot in my house and see things that inspire and relax me, like reading a book or seeing interiors.
For this week’s “Interior Design Ideas” I have selected some incredible spaces designed by very talented interior designers and many of them are sharing important information such as paint colors, lighting, flooring, decor and more.

Shaker style kitchen cabinet painted in Benjamin Moore 1475 Graystone. The walls are Benjamin Moore Dove Wing.
The countertops are Ceasarstone in Misty Carrara and they are honed.
The tile on the backsplash is from Ann Sacks and it is part of a Barbara Barry collection they carry.
Flooring Color: The floor color is a custom mix of Minwax stains including the colors Antique Brown, Coffee Brown, and Ebony.
According to the designer, the cabinet paint color was a custom color, but the closest color would be White Dove by Benjamin Moore.

This clean-lined white kitchen boasts a stainless steel refrigerator recessed beneath white cabinets facing a gray island topped with a white quartz countertop fitted with a farmhouse sink with a brass gooseneck faucet. A extra long white hood is mounted above a brass pot filler flanked by iron wall lanterns. The white herringbone backsplash tile brings some texture to the space.
Perimeter Cabinet Paint Color: Shoji White by Sherwin Williams.
Island: Sherwin Williams Intellectual Gray.
Faucet and Pot Filler: Newport Brass Metropole in Unlaquered Brass.
Hood: Eight Feet wide and Built on site and designed by Tasha B. Davis Interiors. The hood is basically just framed with 2×4’s and the sides were made with plywood with a gentle curve. Then, it’s just drywall with a Level 5 finish and a semi-gloss oil based paint.

Bathroom Paint Color: Benjamin Moore Classic Gray.
I asked the designer about the color used on the cabinet and I was very surprised with what she told me about this cabinet: “Actually, this is not a custom piece, this was the Tucci cabinet by SteinWorld found on Wayfair. Since this was going in a speculative build, I wanted to maximize investment dollars. Our cabinet maker wanted to charge over $3,000 for a demilune design, so this was used instead”. Isn’t she smart?! What a brilliant idea!
