Hello, everyone! How are you doing today? I am so happy to add this special Christmas addition to our weekly “Interior Design Ideas”.
As I mentioned before, I love Christmas. This is my favorite time of the year, I love decorating my house and sharing good moments with my family. It’s truly such a special time of the year. Talking about special, a very important friend of mine sent a couple of pictures of her Christmas decorations this week and I am sharing them with you at the end of this post. Wow, so much inspiration on your blog today Luciane! And to see some of my own creations here, well, er, is a little humbling! 🙂 Although the urn outside the front door was my creation, with greenery collected in my yard and in the neighborhood, I will admit, the centerpiece for the island in my kitchen was created by someone else. I collect the spray painted twigs, the glass tea light holders, berries, cones, and balls, and a fairly large but flat glass salad bowl and brought them to a floral design artist at a local nursery/flower shop with specific instructions as to what I wanted to see in the center of my kitchen for the Christmas holidays. She certainly did not disappoint! 🙂 The wreath comes from a family-based business out of Nova Scotia (deLong Farms). We order one of their wreaths every year, because they are lush, healthy and they ast until almost Easter (no kidding!) The pictures do not do any of the 3 arrangements justice, really. They are so beautiful “in person”! I love having the lights on the urn lit up at night, as it creates a warm welcoming corner at the front entrance of our home.
I want your followers to know that it is quite simple to create this kind of thing at home using inexpensive materials and depending on their locale, native plants. Thank you for sharing both of these photos. I am touched to be included on HomeBunch!

It’s soooo beautiful post!! I love it, I love Christmas and I love decorating the house for Christmas, but I have a kitty and did not put the tree this year because I’m sure that will end at the floor 🙁
