Happy weekend, everyone! I hope you have a great time on Home Bunch today because today’s “Interior Design Ideas” is bringing that Texas farmhouse style that everyone is loving these days. You might thank Joanna and Chip Gaines for that, but who’s really getting the credit here is an incredible Texan builder, Todd Glowka Builder, Inc.. Well-known for building many homes for celebrities, Todd recently finished building this country vacation home for a family of four.
This farmhouse home is located on 400 acres and features inspiring mountain views. The home overlooks numerous spring-fed creeks that provide a year-round source of “live water” running from one end of the ranch to the other. Deep swimming holes lined with massive boulders line the edges, creating beautiful waterfalls.
According to the builder, the residence was designed to be a Texas Hill Country Reclaimed Resort style home. Large family gathering rooms were created and accented with interior walls of stone, a massive see thru fireplace that separates the Great Room from the Family/Dining area and Kitchen.
The finish out on the house is accomplished thru exceptional quality and the use of historical timbers reclaimed from 100 year old barns. A standing seam metal roof compliments the board & batten exterior siding application. Dry stacked stones that are field blended in custom mixes highlight the bronze wood windows to finish off the masterpiece.

Hardwood Flooring: Reclaimed Oak “Sovereign Plank” wood flooring. The milling process is skip planed to preserve the original patina and naturally oiled.
