John Lennon’s house is for sale and it doesn’t come cheap. Allegedly, John Lennon lived in this house, located in the prestigious Bird Streets in Los Angeles, California. The house is very different than it was when John Lennon lived in it, but I’m sure that he enjoyed seeing the same breathtaking city views this fabulous house offers.
Additional features include a wonderfully appointed contemporary kitchen with center island, custom cabinets, glass tile, marble countertops, and stainless steel appliances. French doors lead to the lush landscaped grounds with fountained pool, spa, decks and path that leads to unobstructed views.
The house has 4,520 Sq. Ft., four bedrooms, four bathrooms and it’s on the market for $4,495,000.
Imagine
The front of the house is beautiful yet simple.
Living Room
On this side of the living room, you’ll find many windows and French doors leading to a balcony with stunning views of Los Angeles.
Music
I have a feeling this house belongs to a famous musician. You can see some instruments from this point.
Relax
This living room feels relaxed and tailored at the same time.
Piano
A piano by a fireplace… romance and inspiration.
Dining Room
Green walls! How great is that? This dining room feels so fresh and so chic. I love the chairs with different fabrics on the opposite sides. Fun idea!
Kitchen
Modern and masculine.
Cook
I really like the marble countertops and the eating area. Notice the views you get when cooking in this kitchen.
Family Room
I’ve just found the perfect built-in: wall to wall and with a touch of turquoise.
Family Room & Kitchen
The family room and the kitchen. Isn’t it a great space?
Master Bedroom
This master bedroom is absolutely gorgeous! I’m loving the turquoise touches all over the room and also, the pair of mirrors. By the way, notice the two area rugs used in this room. We often see designers repeating the same rug in different places, you can have fun and use a different rug, as long they have the same hues.
Sleep
The “lights” of LA.
Ensuite
The wallpaper is interesting, but I’d probably change that. I find it too “busy”. What about you? Would you keep it?
Closet
What a fantastic closet! I actually like the wallpaper in here, it makes the room feels fun and warmer. Talking about “warmer”, the floors need a comfy rug, after all, this is a closet!
Zen
Oh, don’t you wish you had a massage room at home also? Imagine yourself getting a massage and looking at the beautiful trees surrounding this room. Peaceful!
Night Light
More beautiful views of Los Angeles.
Splash
I’m not good at gardening (I really wish I was!), but there’s one thing I know for sure, landscaping needs lighting. Can you picture this place without lighting? The effect wouldn’t be the same. I simply love what they did to this space and I’d be swimming in that pool every warm day! π

What you guys think of John Lennon’s house? I’m sure it’s NOTHING like it was when he lived there, but it’s always interesting to see where someone like John lived.
Would you buy this house for $4.5 mil? It’s completely the opposite from Celine Dion‘s house we saw a couple of days ago, huh?
***
Have you ever looked at yourself and “saw” God through your face? Well, today I noticed a mirror and saw myself while I was smiling and I felt God in me. That was the first time I actually felt that. I’m always grateful for everything I do, for everything I have, but did you ever felt happy for being yourself simply because you understand you’re part of God? I never talk about religion and I know that many of us call “God” in many different names, but I think we’re all connected somehow, because we all sake the One, the Light, the Creator and I respect any person, regardless of what they believe. I speak that from my heart… I profoundly respect everyone’s opinions and beliefs.
But today, as I looked at myself, I understood I’m beyond I can imagine, I’m more than I can see, simply because I’m an extension of God, because He’s here, within.
The moment you see God through your smile, through yourself, you also see love growing, you see how precious you are and how you need to pay attention to your heart and your dreams. You deserve a fulfilling life, a fulfilling relationship. You simply deserve having the best kind of life in this world and nothing less.
If we remind ourselves that everyone we meet has God’s Light in them, then we’ll start treating people better, and a better world _or at least, a better environment in your world_ can grow from that.
Leave any guilt behind because life is bigger than regrets and lessons are only learned with forgiveness.
Have a Beautiful day, my friends.

I like the idea of leaving guilt behind and yes agree lessons are only learned with forgiveness and accepting lifes imperfecitons…onto this house. Wow, its quite stunning! I love every single room and that first picture is amazing, what a fabulous house to entertain in! This is a great one Luciane!
Hello Luciane.
I love this home. Yes, if I had a few million to spare I’d buy it! I especially like to kitchen. I think it was tastefully furnished and the views are amazing. Oh what it must feel like to live in such opulance. I wasn’t really feeling Celine Dion’s home. Too extreme for my liking.
This home is stunning… it actually had me at the first photo! Those windows are totally my style… and as for the wall paper – it feels retro, and you know me, I love my retro… but I think I’d move it on, too!
xo Sheila
I respect all peoples’ religious and spiritual beliefs, can’t say that I have come to terms with my own, though.
Anywho, I really like this CA house. It would be neat to compare to Lennon’s New York apartment (at the Dakota building I think it was called). Same place where the movie Rosmary’s Baby was filmed apparently.
lucianne, i think that you are the kindest, dearest person i know……and i do feel like i know you. forgiveness and acceptance, oh and gratitude, you have in abundance, now if everyone had such attributes and faith…….
now this home, LOVE! probably because i can really imagine living here. did you see in the bedroom and the living room the MG grand logo? hmmmm, wonder who lives there.
YES, if i could, i would
xoxo

Oh! Maybe we should forget about Rob’s house and move into this one! LOL! This is gorgeous. Love all of the paned windows. I’d get rid of that wallpaper too. In the closet too (sorry). Great inspirational words at the end. xxoo
Best,
Gloria
p.s. I’ve never seen God through my face though… maybe I should start doing better things and He’ll show up. π
Oh, Gloria!!
You’re so funny!!! When I ask: “Have you ever looked at yourself and βsawβ God through your face?”, I’m meaning “feeling” God in you. Feeling His love, feeling that you’re not alone. Anyone can name it however they want, but for me, that was a feeling of God’s presence in me, in my life. π
Big Hugs to you!
Luciane
I loved Lennon! My prefer beatle, always…
I love this house, beautiful views!
xoxo
I really like this house. I would change the wallpaper in the bathroom as well. The decorating is a little contemporary for me, but I love the home itself and the views and yard are beautiful.
Lovely thoughts, Luciane. It’s wonderful that you recognize God within you and within others, too. I agree with your sentiments and applaud your bravery in stating your beliefs and your appreciation of others’ beliefs as well. Spiritual matters seem harder to talk about without fear of ridicule.
As for the house – it obviously belongs to a guy (did you see what’s in the closet?) who had a female designer decorate and furnish it. As for the MGM logo, I think that’s a screen shot on the flat screen TV’s. You know, guys have to have a TV in every room. π Still, the house is not really masculine at all.
Luciane,
What a lovely experience and a very positive thing to hear about, thank you for sharing.
What an amazing home. Actually, for L.A. that isn’t such a bad price. Very pretty.
Karen
This was a wonderful post, from your images to your lovely thoughts. This was a joy to read.
Wow!
