This project, led by Alyce Lopez, principal and founder of The True House, is situated in the coastal city of San Diego, California. The goal of this remodeled home was to customize the space to fit the needs of the clients and create a relaxed aesthetic that welcomes you with open arms. The project included an extensive remodel of the kitchen, new flooring throughout the home, and renovation of the primary bathroom.
This home renovation gives us so many great ideas and I hope this post comes in handy if you are planning on renovating your kitchen and bathroom in the near future.
Enjoy the tour, everyone!
In the extensive kitchen renovation, the primary focus was on maximizing the storage space and incorporating some splashes of color.

Prior to the renovation, the space was limited in terms of available footprint and the designer wanted to give the homeowners counter stools at the island. This lead to removing the existing breakfast nook in order to extend the island and incorporated low back counter stools to provide some comfort and maintain a clean line of sight.
New cabinets, lighting, flooring and the addition of a coffee bar, not only create a beautiful space but one that invites you to spend creative – and delicious – time in! I mean, who would love to cook in this kitchen? 🙂
