It seems that white kitchens finally got a rival! Rift Oak cabinets are the new white or, at least, a cabinet option that can complement white cabinets, especially if you add a gray-washed finish to them.
I am truly honored to be featuring this project done by Lyons McConnell Architecture Construction. They were recently hired to work on this full home renovation. They restored and renovated this traditional home that was originally built in the 1930s. They gutted most rooms and fixed old framing and sprayed the house with closed cell foam to make it more efficient.
I feel that there is a lot to learn from this home, but I mostly thought of sharing this kitchen because I hope it will inspire many of you that are looking for something else than just painted cabinets.
The perimeter cabinets are shaker style. Paint color is Benjamin Moore Barely There.
The island features custom “X” inset details on the island.

The kitchen backsplash is Quartz, Calcutta Classic slabs. The kitchen hood mantel and the floating shelves are Rift Oak.

The kitchen island and the perimeter countertops are also Quartz, Calcutta Classic.
Wall Paint Color: Barely There by Benjamin Moore.
Kitchen island dimension are 42″ x 108″. Also notice that stunning kitchen wet bar on the left.

The cabinet stain color is custom with a gray washed finish. A cabinet maker should be able to replicate this look if you show this picture to them.

This cabinet looks great with the marble-looking quartz countertop and slab backsplash.
