I have complained about feeling tired not too long ago and yes, I’ve been working a lot, besides you all know I have three small children, which means, I never stop. Actually, to be totally honest, the only time I try to “stop” is when it’s time for bed.
I’m very grateful for my baby being a really good sleeper, but lately I’m the one having trouble falling asleep. I used to sleep so fast before, within a couple of minutes, but now I feel it takes forever and I usually wake up a couple of times during the night and if you knew me personally, you’d know I need my sleep! I can get so cranky without it!!!
After I complained about being so tired, I received some very nice emails, some of you encouraged me practice yoga (to relax more) and I started doing it with my kids. We laugh more than relax, but it’s making me take a break and have some fun. Someone asked me if I’m drinking too much caffeine and that’s not the case. Even a company, Memory Foam Express, asked what kind of mattress I have. Well, I’m not sure if this is good or not, because I have no intentions of changing my mattress, but I noticed I’m waking up with backaches lately. This company actually sells memory foam mattresses and I couldn’t help but wonder if it is actually good to sleep on one of those mattresses?
I was reading on the net and I found out you should change your mattress every eight to ten years. I had no idea! I payed so much for mine and that was seven years ago. I guess I’ll have to start looking for a new mattress soon and I’m really interested in knowing if memory foam mattress are that much better for your body and back. I read online that these mattresses are incredibly comfortable and you feel “hugged” when sleeping. If that’s the case, I’m buying one next week. Yes, I’m that desperate for a really good night of sleep.
If you have any experience with memory foam mattresses, please, share it with me!

oi Luciane!

It’s so hard to sleep when you are caring for other little humans… just impossible to match up everyone’s circadian rythms! That’s my theory anyway. My mom says that the sleepless nights never really stop, even when the kids leave home. Then you just stay up all night worrying anyway 🙂
you poor thing lucianne, day to day life is challenging without sleep.
you would not want my advice, meds, no other way around it.
i have been curious about these foam mattresses, anxious to hear what your readers have to say
sweet dreams

I have never slept on a foam mattress but my kids go to a friends house that all their mattress are foam (their dad used to work for Tempurpedic). They rave about these mattresses and have begged me to buy them one. A little too expensive for kids – at least for me. I love my mattress so much, but it is about 10 years old and I feeling like I should buy a new one. Let me know what you decide. Hugs Girl! xoxo
Luciane,
We have a memory foam mattress and we love it. But I think I could sleep in almost any one of these beautiful bedrooms.

Buy a featherbed and you will feel as if you’re sleeping on a cloud…changed my life. On a featherbed there are no pressure points, so that should take care of your back problems.
Where are those orchids wall flowers from?? How can I get them?!?
Ohhh I like all them, but my favorite it’s the last, gorgeous!
Have a good week, darling!
xoxo
Hi Luciane, we tried a memory foam mattress and back to the store it went quickly…hated it. It was too soft and I can’t imagine it actually being good for your back. If you’re getting backaches when you wake up it’s time for a new mattress. Gorgeous bedrooms I’m going back and pinning a few!

While memory foam is nice, you will still have to change out your mattress every 8-10 years. If you buy a tempurpedic mattress, you do not have to change for nearly 20 years. They do not break down the way normal memory foam does. I was having some tightness and back ache in the mornings, and then we bought a tempurpedic and it has been amazing! They are worthy every penny you will spend on them!
We just bought a new bed in December, but it’s not Memory Foam. We’re loving our new bed… I’m wondering about the back ache. With the blogging I’ve found my body has pain in places that surprised me, but my back, well that’s no surprise with all the sitting. I did 5 private 1-on-1 sessions with a personal trainer who gave me specific exercises to counteract the blogging position, and it’s made a huge difference. My challenge is being dedicated and consistent! Off I go to do some stretches 😉
I highly recommend the original Tempurpedic memory foam mattress. We have a 6 year old pillow top Tempurpedic. It has helped our backs immensely.
Hope you get that figured out girl, you are so sweet and I hate hearing that….on the other hand these bedrooms are to DIE for!!! don’t think i could pick a favorite..they all are!
I love the 2nd bedroom photo! I was wondering if you could tell me where I might be able to purchase the bedding for this photo. I would very much appreciate it!
Hello Courtney,
Thank you so much for your comment.
Unfortunately, I don’t know where they purchased the bedding. I also think it’s a wonderful one. I’ll let you know if I find out the source, ok?
Big hugs,
Luciane
