There’s nothing small and quaint about this cottage home. In fact, this home feels very spacious and open, which is perfect to welcome family and friend wanting to spend the weekend by the lake.
I can’t see anything I don’t like in this lake cottage. I am loving the large kitchen, the chic living room with coffered ceiling, the blue-gray master bathroom and the overall feel of this home. The color palette is also something that grabs your attention and makes you wish you could repaint your home.

The hardwood floors are from Artistry, Heritage Collection, Tavern Oak 7″ width.
The living room chandelier is Maxim Lighting Fairmont 6-Light Chandelier in polished nickel. – $758.00
The ceiling paint was a very light blue and the walls were a silvery gray. The ceiling was “Benjamin Moore Lookout Point 1646”.
This is a nice idea on how to decorate a side table.
Wall paint color is “Benjamin Moore Silver Chain 1472”.
The cabinet and trim color is Ben Moore White Dove OC-17. The dark trim framing the coffered ceiling is a walnut stain.
I am loving the furniture arrangement in this living room. The living room furniture is all from Grace Hill in Wayzata, MN.
The decor on the coffee table is elegant and uncomplicated.
Kitchen Paint Color: The cabinet and trim color is Benjamin Moore White Dove OC-17. The wall color is Benjamin Moore 1472 Silver Chain.
The inset cabinet hardware is from Emtek.
The backsplash is a dimensional (beveled) white subway tile with a marble mosaic accent over the cooktop.
The kitchen perimeter counters are Virginia Mist Honed which is a granite.
This kitchen island has many inspiring space saver ideas! I love the paper towel holder and the cooking utensil drawer. Isn’t this brilliant?
Take another close look on the beautiful Oak plank floors.
This kitchen features an island with white marble-looking countertop called Ella from Cambria.
The kitchen bar is great to prepare beverages or small snacks. Beveled backsplash tiles bring some texture and interest to this area.
The kitchen stools and fabric are from Grace Hill Design.
The island features a pair of Darlana Lanterns from Circa Lighting. The lighting above sink is from Rejuvenation.
The kitchen opens to a dining room painted in Benjamin Moore 1472 Silver Chain.
The chandeliers above the dining room are Crystorama Calypso 3 Light Chrome Pendant w12 x h15.5 (in) #130-CH – $478.00 each.
I am loving the vase combination on this salvaged wood trestle dining table. Simple yet tailored.
What a great bathroom design! I love the combination of board and batten wainscoting with navy walls painted in Newburyport Blue by Benjamin Moore. The board and batten wainscoting was enameled in BM White Dove. The wainscoting was installed using multiple trim boards at approximately 54″ height. The floor tile is a marble hexagon.
A beautiful staircase with striped stair runner leads you to the second level of the home.

The master bathroom features gray walls painted in Pale Smoke by Benjamin Moore and a large custom vanity with marble top.
The bathroom cabinet is painted in “Benjamin Moore White Dove OC-17”.
The shower features a classic combination of marble and white subway tiles.
A stairway with dark-stained railings and newel posts lead you to the basement.
The walls are painted in Revere Pewter from Ben Moore HC-172.
Basement Flooring: Most of the lower level has ceramic tiles in a wood look with in-floor heating. The tile is called Florim/Forest/Liana 6×36 Item 5615 from Rubble Tile in Minneapolis. The TV area has carpet for softer comfort.
The L-shaped laundry room features white cabinets painted in Benjamin Moore OC-17 White Dove, gray ceramic tiles in a brick pattern and granite counters.
This is my kind of mudroom! I love the navy cabinets and the plank wood-grain ceramic tiles.
The cabinets are enameled in Hale Navy by Benjamin Moore HC-154. The walls are BM Silver Chain.
