This custom beauty greets you with a warm welcome. I love the warm tones and the reclaimed wood ceiling. The reclaimed wood ceiling is made of grey barn wood.
This home is wired for Central Vacuum System Power as well as Control 4— an automated remote control system for everything in the home (lights, widow shades, heating, air conditioning, door locks, etc) and powered from a touch screen, much like an iPad.
Brass accents and reclaimed wood make for the perfect pair in this entry. Notice the gorgeous gold feather art (similar here).
Most interior walls are painted in Dunn Edwards DEC 774 Shady – a very neutral color that works beautifully with natural wood.

Front Door: Front door is custom made by the builder’s local finish carpenter. It is a custom solid stain grade wood door with a translucent black stain and clear glass with an anodized aluminum threshold.
Door Hardware: Hardware is Emtek entry set in black finish.
This entire home feature beautiful textures to complement the reclaimed wood used in many spaces. Here, a painted white brick fireplace contrasts with the reclaimed wood mantel.
This is a space full of fun patterns, textures and accents. Love it!
The mantel starts at approximately 48″H.
La Cantina accordion doors provide a seamless transition from the living room to the front patio.
The whitewashed brick was painted and distressed with Dunn Edwards Spartawall White Flat White.
The interior designer, Brooke Wagner from Brooke Wagner Design, truly knows how to put a room together. I love the pieces she chose for the living room.

Isn’t this driftwood kitchen island stunning? Kitchen island is Rift Sawn White Oak island custom made by the builder’s local finish carpenter.
The beams are reclaimed box beams made out of grey barn wood with 5″ wide channel board planks, supplied by the builder’s local finish carpenter.
This spacious kitchen offers custom shaker cabinetry, white marble and black granite countertops, brand new stainless steel appliances.
This is a mason brick that was applied to the surface of the wall. The paint color is Dunn Edwards Spartawall White Flat White.

The dining room is just off the kitchen. The interior trim paint color is Dunn Edwards Evershield Whisper Gloss.
This stunning white beaded chandelier is Jacqueline Two-Tier Pendant in White Glass by Aerin.
The Roman shades fabric is by Swazi Mud Linen by Walter G.

Trims and the craftsman style newel posts are painted in “Dunn Edwards 2005 Evershield Semi-gloss”.
Lots of contrasting elements make for a bold statement on this ceiling… white tongue and groove (not shown), reclaimed wood beams & skylight trims, painted railings & a pop of brass. Lighting is Suzanne Kasler Morris Lantern in Gilded Iron – $1,050.00

The shower features upper walls clad in white mosaic tiles and lower walls clad in charcoal gray brick tiles lined with a white floating shower bench hovering over a white mosaic tiled shower floor.

The top level offers a rooftop deck with views of the Pacific Ocean and a handy outdoor wet bar. The roof deck is covered in Tufflex’s Elastomeric Deck Coating. (Elasta-Tuff 6000 AL).
The roof deck features stained paneled vaulted ceiling over a kitchenette boasting a flatscreen tv over a sink and stainless steel cabinets next to a glass-front beverage fridge.
The deck also features a gray roll-arm sectional with white piping facing a teak coffee table atop a black and white diamond print rug.

Can I ask a question? I just bought the paint Dunn Edwards Shady…and the color appears a lot lighter in your home. Did you lighten the shade of paint when you purchased?

The color was not lightened — sometimes the color can change due the natural light in the room, the photographer’s light/camera and even due the computer monitor.
