Motorized blinds are very convenient since you can open or close them by pressing a button. I would recommend them for apartments or tall windows that are hard to access. Chances are that you will need to have them customized and professionally installed.
Roman shades tend to look so tailored and they add interest to any type of room. Make sure to use cordless styles because they are much safer for small children.
