Since the kitchen is the ❤ of the home, how about making the most of it? Designed by the brilliant and sweet Kate from Kate Marker Interiors, this neutral transitional kitchen has the space and the style that you want!
With a fun mix of black, white, stained wood and with a touch of gold, making this kitchen the queen of elements. Features include a large island with Bianco Perla Quartzite, neutral walls painted in Classic Gray by Benjamin Moore, and painted black windows and doors by Marvin Windows.
Make sure to take notes on all the details and feel free to pin away. It’s good to share beauty around!
The kitchen cabinets are custom from Premier Woodworking. Aren’t they beautiful?
Kitchen Hardware
The designer added hardware in antique brass to bring warmth to the cabinets in this kitchen.
Counter Stools
Stools are from Lee Industries.
Kitchen Backsplash
This transitional kitchen features subway tile backsplash with dark grout and open shelving beneath cabinets. Backsplash is Bison Brick in White.

Kitchen Bar
The designer, once again, mixes black, white and gold on the kitchen bar. Notice the perfect symmetry of this space.
How Linear of You!
This has to be one of my favorites light fixtures! Dining room features the one and only, Darlana Linear Pendant in Gilded Iron.
Dining Area
A dining room with personality is always refreshing. Slipcovered host dining chairs are by LEE Industries.
Black French doors are by Marvin Windows.
Oh, So Good!
This is what Kate mentioned on her Instagram about this space: “Black windows + crisp white linen = so good!”. I have to agree with the designer on this one. 🙂
Connection
The kitchen and dining area opens to a spacious family room. Notice the custom cabinet between the columns.
Family Room
The family room, also painted in Benjamin Moore Classic Gray, features two Classic Ring Chandeliers from Circa Lighting.

Hello Suzanne,
This means so much to me. Thank you for taking the time to write this and make my day feel a little brighter! 🙂
Enjoy your day and keep in touch! It’s really nice to “meet” you!
Luciane
Every detail is amazing. Just love the pendant lights (don’t think I’ve ever seen them) and the contrast between the stained island and white cabinets is beautiful! Hoping you get everything done early and can take a small breather in the afternoon…fingers crossed!
Hi Luciane
I’m always interested in content from other designers and consequently, subscribed to a number of blogs. However, I echo what others have said and say Kudos to always providing me thought-provoking new ideas. I always repin your photos on Pinterest. Great stuff. Thanks for your diligence in providing super cool pictures of awesome interiors and exteriors.
