Memorial Day is certainly much more than sales and I want to share my respect for this Holiday, but for many of us, Memorial Day is also the unofficial kick off to summer and I think that this year we have some good reasons to feel more relieved after some hard times and finally try to feel a little more relaxed. Things are definitely not over but I finally feel that we’re getting hopeful with the sunshine shining upon us – not to mention the amazing furniture and home decor sales that many retailers are having as we speak – everything feels more positive and vibrant.

Talking about vibrant, I am not scared of adding plenty of comfort and color to my outdoor areas this year and I am definitely also adding summery colors to my interiors. After being “stuck” in our home for so long, it’s really nice to refresh it, open all the windows and doors and enjoy a home that extends to the outdoors. I am embracing my surroundings, I am embracing life and I am doing that the best way I can. Life is too short to compromise on living. 😉
