Built by one of the most reliable builders in Houston, Texas, Allan Edwards Builder Inc., this home features a curb appeal that mixes traditional architecture with trendy details. Beautiful limestone and grey shutters bring a timeless look, while steel windows, painted in a charcoal grey color, add a current feel to the exterior.
While the architecture subtly reminds you of some Tudor influences, the decor works with a transitional French country style. The kitchen is, without a doubt, my favorite room of the house, with its large kitchen island, soft grey cabinets and plenty of brass accents. The flooring of this home is also something that immediately grabs your attention.
Overall, I feel this stone home is serene, soft and a comfortable place to live and make many memories in. It’s easy to see yourself living here…
The exterior of this home features beautiful natural stone and grey shutters. Roof is GAF.
Modern rectangular concrete pavers contrast with the traditional exterior.
Shutters were custom built by Cedarmill, but a similar paint color would be “Sherwin Williams Dorian Gray”.
The exterior stone is a full 4″ limestone quarried in Oklahoma, sold locally by Alamo Stone. Their in-house name is Alamo White Ledgestone.
The foyer features a timeless stone archway. The stone was purchased from Alamo Stone and is called “White Chopped” stone.
The wooden doors were custom made by MRJ.
Lighting was sourced by homeowner.
Paint color is Anew Gray SW7030 by Sherwin-Williams.
The kitchen is painted in a pale gray color; Sherwin Williams Repose Gray SW 7015. This color works great with brass accents.
This grey kitchen features a custom built hood with powder coated finish.
The kitchen hardware is from Rocky Mountain Hardware.
Slabs of White Macaubas Quartzite was used on countertops and as backsplash in this kitchen.
Flooring is French Oak with a wax finish.
The paint color is Sherwin Williams Repose Gray. Lighting is Visual Comfort Ralph Lauren Home Roark RLH 50″ Chandelier in Vintage Oak – $2,200
I love the neutral colors of this bedroom. Paint color is Sherwin-Williams SW7030 Anew Gray. Notice the sliding barn doors with antique mirror.
Great master bathroom with vaulted beamed ceiling and large herringbone floor tiles. The large herringbone floor tiles were supplied by Walker Zanger.
This home is located on a large, private lot.
The stone flooring was selected by Alamo Stone in Houston.
The ceiling was 1×6 pine stained in a custom color. Same for the columns, custom mixed stain.
Beautiful and peaceful place to unwind at the end of the day…
