A formal dining area that opens to a private patio with floor to ceiling retractable pocket doors creates an intimate setting for entertaining. The first floor is complete with a laundry room, guest bedroom and full bath. Upstairs a family room separates the master suite from the two guest bedroom suites. With its own separate sitting area or office, the master has vaulted reclaimed wood ceilings, a fireplace and spectacular marble bathroom. Enjoy sunsets and dining on the third floor roof top deck with a covered cabana complete with a flat screen tv and fireplace.

Living near the coast of Southern California enables you to spend time enjoying the outdoors all year round. This is a great space to have some friends over during the weekend and talk about life.
Neighborhood
This house is located only a few blocks from the beach. Wouldn’t it be nice to sit here at the end of the day and feel the warm ocean’s breeze.
Kitchen
Bright white cabinets set the stage in this clean and contemporary kitchen. Unique details are found in the white, gray and gold marble counter tops as well as the upholstered bar stools with the same colors. Wire lanterns hang above the island, adding to the bright, clean feel.
The backsplash is a 3×6 porcelain subway tile in a greyish finish.
The island is about 12′ long by 42″.
Kitchen Countertop
The countertop in this kitchen is is a marble slab material called “Calacatta Vechia”. The edge is 2-1/4″.
Kitchen Decor
Counter stools were custom made.
Ikat fabric on the back of the stool is the “Kelly Wearstler Bengal Bazaar in Murshroom/Straw GWF-2811-614 for Lee Jofa”.
Pendants are from Visual Comfort.
Kitchen Nook
A variety of textures and shades of white, gold and brown enhance the character of this cozy kitchen nook. A few of the fun and interesting details include finished carpentry, a natural textured window shade and white painted brick walls. Padded booth seating and padded box stools surround a round wood dining table.
Coastal Decor
Natural wood shelves are strung from custom hemp ropes to create an eye catching design in this recessed window area. White wood window moldings stand out against the neutral colors of the textured wall coverings.
Living Room
A traditional style is combined with clean contemporary lines in this warm living room. Wire brushed wood floors are accented by a sea grass area rug. Natural window coverings and various textured throw pillows add interest and beauty.
Fireplace stone: The fireplace hearth and surround is made of a material called “Caracus Blue”. This is a limestone.
Hues
Everything feels inviting and comfortable in this living room.
Home Office
This home office is small, but a built-in makes the best of this space.
Pendant Lighting is the”Arch Top Lantern, designed by designer E.F. Chapman” from Circa Lighting.
Laundry Room
Built-in cabinets and marble counter tops make this laundry room organized as well as beautiful.
Shades are natural woven shades.
Countertop is soapstone.
Stairway
Detailed finished carpentry creates a wow factor on this square spiral stairway. White walls and spindles are compliments by wire brushed wood stairs and handrails. This stairway is truly a work of art.
These are engineered french oak stair treads. This was a custom stained floor used throughout the home.
Den
At the top of the stairs and down the hall from the master suite is this warm and comfortable den. Brown upholstered chairs with nailhead details are placed on a seagrass area rug, creating a mix of color and textures. Distressed gray shelving with French paned window doors is just one example of the lovely finished carpentry in this space.
Rustic-Chic
Sliding reclaimed wood barn doors allow an open feel the hallway as well as privacy when needed.
Master Bedroom
How about escaping the stress of daily life in this warm and roomy master bedroom? A variety of textures and warm tones create a relaxing feel. Two upholstered chairs sit in front of the white painted brick fireplace, a perfect place to rest and rejuvenate. Finished carpentry enhances the room from floor the ceiling.
Beams
Beams are reclaimed wood planks, unstained.
Seating Area
Great furniture configuration for a seating area. Also noticed the painted brick fireplace. This adds plenty of character to this bedroom.
Master Bathroom
This master bathroom has unique details from floor to ceiling. A hanging chandelier draws the eye to the peaked ceiling which gives the room an open feel. Tones of tan, gold, gray and white create a clean look, accessorized with subtle coastal decor.
Relax
The large, deep, freestanding bathtub is the perfect place to unwind and relax at the end of the day.
Guest Bedroom
I am loving the natural and warm feel you get from this bedroom.
Paint Colors: This is “Dunn Edwards Tintable White”. Color code: DEW 329 (75%).
The doors are custom made by the builder’s carpenter and they are bypass sliders.
Guest Bathroom
Clean lines make this small bathroom appear larger than it actually is.
Cabana
The cabana room is located off a stairwell on the third story roof deck. This room is the epitome of indoor/outdoor living as there are no doors or windows to block the ocean breeze.
Comfortable tan chairs sit in front of the white painted brick fireplace. The white high gloss, wood paneled ceiling creates a light and bright look and feel.
Get Cozy
The fabric on these pillows is the “Kravet Bansuri Ikat Fabric”.
Dining Room
A mix of eclectic chairs and an upholstered bench surround a rectangular dining table in this warm and open formal dining space. Wire brushed wood flooring is contrasted with bright white walls and detailed finished carpentry. Accents of gold, brown and gray finish the look.

Lighting is the “E.F. Chapman Branched 10 Light Linear Pendant in Polished Nickel with Long Natural Paper Shade SL5863PN-NP2“
