This house has a perfect balance between traditional and contemporary. Shingles, stone, multiple gables and white trim give the exterior a classic look, while the soft pallet and elegant furnishings make the interior flow perfectly. The main living area has a very open floor plan and most spaces are painted in white, while others are painted in soft-sky blue and grasscloth. The owner wanted a place where the colors didn’t compete with the views. The result is a house where everything feels really calming and soothing, simply perfect for its location.

The blue and white toile fabric on the Ralph Lauren chairs was the inspiration for the design of the living room.

This living room has interesting textures with the grass cloth wallpaper, the oxidized zinc table top and the linen dining chairs.
Bar
The wet bar was crafted from old barn floorboards and a set of Victorian leaded-glass windows.
Kitchen
This kitchen feels very timeless. The Lacanche stove is stunning and so are the light fixtures.
Master Bedroom
The master bedroom feels feminine with that chandelier.
Master Bathroom
This master bathroom is so perfect! The freestanding tub and the mirror are incredible.
Porch
Stone walls and lanterns give the porch a cozy feeling.
Water Views
A wonderful place to have your family over and enjoy the view.
