Now, let’s think a little deeper about paint color. What do you usually notice when entering a home for the first time? Is it the decor? The flooring? The lighting? Or is it perhaps the paint color? Often, we don’t look at one singular element, but instead, even before we have the chance to analyze the space, we feel it. This feeling immediately comes from the colors we see and that immediately sends messages to our brain and we respond with a “feeling” of like or dislike. After this very short period of time, the overall ambiance is then perceived and we can understand the reasons this is or isn’t a place that makes us feel comfortable.
With that said, choosing the right paint color for your home should, before anything, be about how each particular color makes you and your family feel. It’s with that thing that I decided to write this post with each picture describing the paint color used. Well, the weekend is basically here (this week went by too fast, didn’t it?) and I don’t have many plans. The kids will have some small activities, but I will try to relax and sleep more – something I am not doing much lately and I am one of those people that need their sleep, otherwise…well, I get a bit too grumpy and emotional. 🙂
