Oprah Winfrey is looking for yet, another mansion for her collection. The New York Post has informed that Oprah is house- hunting in the New York area and the most impressive house that she has looked yet is the infamous $68 million dollars mansion in Alpine, New Jersey.

Oprah got to the house around noon and her security team asked everyone to leave the mansion and the grounds, so it would be empty when she walked through. Only a security guard was allowed to stay at his post at the gate.

The house itself is immense. It has 12 bedrooms, 19 bathrooms, 30,300 sq/ft. a library, ballroom, movie theater, tennis court, saline pool, wine cellar, 11 car garage, several fireplaces, English gardens, ponds, pool house and a carriage house. The land alone is worth $15 million and the landscaping and stone walls are valued at about $5 million.

The house is only half-hour drive from Manhattan.

Honestly, I find hard to imagine all of that! Maybe it’s easier if we see some pictures.

This Estate could be Oprah’s new Home.

If Oprah’s looking for perfection, she should buy this place.

Little Piece

About 10 curved windows as seen here cost around $20,000 a piece. The driveway has radiant heat so the cars won’t get too cold in the winter and there’s no need for shoveling snow.

Pass it to me

Would Oprah play some ball here? ๐Ÿ˜‰

Gardens

A subterranean drainage system is built into the rear lawn to clear away water quickly, so you can still play after a heavy rain. Trรจs chic!

Oprah has houses in Chicago, Maui, and the Caribbean island of Antigua, also her mostly known Estate “The Promise Land” in Montecito, California. For that mansion alone she paid $50,000,000. But again, when it comes to Oprah, does money really count?

Oh, I almost forgot! If you buy this house and you don’t want to share your “vino” with anybody, you’re safe here. The wine cellar can be accessed only with thumbprint recognition software. Poor Stedman… ๐Ÿ™‚

What’s your thoughts? If you were Oprah, would you buy this place?
