I recently shared a new kitchen and dining room designed by Allison Campbell of Allison Campbell Design and today we’ll be touring this pantry that has my top 10 pantry organization ideas.
The most effective pantry organization ideas are not only functional but also sustainable, and even if you’re unsure about your pantry organization method, this pantry I am sharing today has plenty of inspiration to ignite your creativity. Start by considering your daily habits and the items you use most frequently. Group similar items together and label containers for easy identification. Utilize vertical space with tiered shelves or hanging racks, and consider clear containers for a uniform look and easy viewing. Don’t be afraid to mix and match storage solutions to suit your needs, and remember that organization is an ongoing process. Rotate items regularly and adjust as your lifestyle or dietary preferences change. With a little effort and imagination, your pantry can become a harmonious space that makes meal preparation a breeze.
I hope this inspires you to organize your own pantry and have the space of your dreams!

#1 Pantry Organization Tip: Swinging Pantry Door – No matter how organized your pantry is, a door that conceals everything is always welcome! A swinging pantry door is great option for pantries because of its double action hardware; the doors can swing back and forth and effortlessly go closed at the center position. Plan on installing a swinging pantry door to add convenience and practicability to your pantry and kitchen area.
Corner Lazy Susan: Rev-A-Shelf 3 -Tier White Plastic Adjustable Height Full circle Cabinet Lazy Susan.
#2 Pantry Organization Tip: Easy Access – Is there’s anything more frustrating than entering your pantry and taking a long time to find something you’re looking for? Open wood bins, baskets, crates and pull-out pantry systems can not only keep everything easily accessible but also visible.
#3 Pantry Organization Tip: Open Shelves – Think vertical when you’re designing your pantry and use all of the space you have with floor-to-ceiling shelves. That will create plenty of storage space, no matter how small you think your pantry might be. If you don’t have the budget to have a pantry with custom cabinetry, you can always opt for store bought modular shelves, which is a more affordable option but equally functional!
Other Pantry Options: Corner Easy Track Traditional White Pantry (similar to the layout above) & Dotted Line Jorah 74.1” Pantry System & 70.9”H*82.8”W Food Pantry.
#4: Pantry Organization Tip: Clutter Free – Like every space in your home, you won’t need to constantly organize your pantry if you have a good plan, and that starts with the right storage. In this picture we see that the designer used plenty of different storage solutions that meet the homeowner’s needs and will allow for replacing the items while keeping things organized and tidy.
#5 Pantry Organization Tip: Use Versatile Drawers – Drawers are arguably the most versatile pantry organization idea out there and pull-out drawers are actually my favorite! They’re spacious enough to store snacks for the kids’ lunches and anything in between.
Pull-out Drawers: Metal Drawer By Rev-A-Shelf.
#6 Pantry Organization Tip: Baskets are your pantry’s best friend, especially if you’re one that likes to keep an ample supply on hand. Baskets are also perfect to properly organize and conceal things you don’t need to have on a daily basis. Remember to use durable materials, such as metal or wooden bin, to avoid stains caused by spills. Open wire baskets are ideal to store produce, such as fruits and vegetables, whereas closed baskets are very useful to store things like seasonal plates, napkins and tablecloths.
White Baskets: Large Hampton Bin White.
Brass Perforated Metal Storage Basket: Serena Stamped Metal Bins – Others: Tosca Metal/Wire Basket, Metal Storage Baskets for Shelving – Soft Brass & Metal Wire Nesting Storage Basket Set (Set of 3).
Metal Grid Baskets: Wide Maddox Wire Grid Bin Gold, Wide & Narrow.
#7 Pantry Organization Tip: Shelves with a Purpose – If space allows, try to create each shelf for a designated section. For example, have a shelf for dry goods on top, condiments in the middle, and kids’ snacks conveniently on the bottom shelves for easy access.
#8 Pantry Organization Tip: Use Canisters – Canisters were made to store all types of dry goods and keep them fresh. I often use them to store grains, rice, nuts, and cereal for the kids, for an easy breakfast when we’re rushing in the mornings.
Handwoven Rectangular Baskets: Beachcomber Handwoven Rectangular Baskets – similar.
Cereal Canisters: Good Grips Cereal Dispenser.

#9 Pantry Organization Tip: Labels – Establishing designated zones in your pantry is essential for easily locating everyday items. Utilize labels to clearly identify products that could easily be confused with one another.

#10 Pantry Organization Tip: Lazy Susans & Shelf Tiered Organizers – Lazy Susans and shelf-tiered can organizers are one of the best inventions for pantries in a long time! They save space and offer convenient storage. Brilliant!
