This post is especially for my dear readers that love traditional homes, and if you’re one of them I’m sure you’ll enjoy this well-designed space.
This traditional home has a very neutral palette and seems to be perfect for empty-nesters. Even tough all the rooms are kid-friendly, the decor feels more mature. The interiors of this traditional home are sophisticated but not too serious and have comfort in mind.
I feel this traditional home has a lot of character and that’s always refreshing. I especially like the mudroom that can be used as a sewing or crafts room. The traditional white kitchen is also fantastic, with lots of cabinets and two islands.
I would say this home is for those whom like beautiful architecture and like to play it safe with interior design.

Hello, my friends! What a weekend, I tell you! π It was busy, got a new pair of laundry machines and did lots of laundry! Sounds just like a fairy-tale, doesn’t it? Well, this is real life. π
I had a quite expensive pair of laundry machines and I bought them because I heard so may great things about them when we moved to this house. I wanted something that would last for a long time and that was silent, since our laundry room is close to our kitchen. Boy, was I wrong?! The machines had problems since the very beginning and I tried to keep them as long as I could, but just last week I once again had a problem with the dryer and my husband and I decided it was time to buy a new pair instead of calling the repairman again.
I bought an affordable, simple pair of laundry machines this time around. I really wanted to have only the basics this time around. Do you remember those older machines growing up? My grandma has her washing machine for over 20 years! I know that the technology has changed (better energy savings, etc), but it also got cheaply-made, with less durable parts and I got tired of spending way too much money on something that will have to be replaced every five years or so.
I’m back to the basics… and simplicity can give some peace of mind sometimes. π
Have a very blessed week, full of great, happy and fun moments!
