Designed by Christy Dillard Kratzer from Dillard Pierce Design Associates, LLC, these traditional interiors are pure elegance!
The beautiful living room feels completely inviting in creams and yellow colors, silk draperies and velvet upholstery, while a European-inspired traditional kitchen incorporates a classic approach.
Timeless materials were used in every interior you will see here: hand-painted silk wallpaper, white marble, antique mirrors, Niermann Weeks and Paul Ferrant chandeliers and of course, French Limestone and Brazilian Cherry hardwood floors.
The quality seen in these traditional interiors are the kind that we simply don’t see very often. I hope you enjoy the post!
Traditional Interiors
A classic formal living room is always timeless.
This is a sofa from Heirloom Furniture which is now carried through Century Furniture. This sofa style is now called the Carla #22-750 and dimensions are 81″w x 46″d x 32″h.
This table was purchased at Jerry Pair & Associates in Atlanta and it is a Dennis & Leen table.
These are cream colored silk drapes with a hand painted decorative silk border down the lead edge. They are tied back with decorative tassels from Samuel & Sons.
Paint Color
Wall Paint Color is “Fresh Air 211 by Benjamin Moore”.
Similar Trim Color: “Creamy from Sherwin Williams”.
The ottoman is from Heirloom Furniture.
Traditional Dining Room
The dining room is yet another space that is elegant and outrageously gorgeous.
The wallpaper in the dining room is a custom hand-painted silk wall covering by DeGournay. The colors were mixed specifically for this home.
The chandelier is called the “Russian Chandelier by Niermann Weeks”. Mirror is an antique piece.
Hardwood floor is Brazilian Cherry in a Jacobean stain.
Stone in the foyer is called “French Refined Limestone” from Paris Ceramics.
Table is by Karges Furniture.
Traditional Hallway
Wall Paint Color is similar to “Linen White 912 by Benjamin Moore”.
Lantern is from McLean Lighting.
Garden Room
This garden room has trellis woodwork on wall, stenciled limestone floors, antique mirrors and slipcovered furniture. Isn’t it an exquisite space? Tea, please! 🙂
Wall color is “Cedar Key by Benjamin Moore” and trellis is “Winds Breath, also from Benjamin Moore”.
Kitchen Design
This has to be one of the best kitchens out there! The attention to detail is evident.
Kitchen Cabinet Paint Color: The color on cabinets is “Mayonnaise OC-85 by Benjamin Moore” and has a glaze applied on top of color to get dimension on cabinets doors and drawers.
Traditional Kitchen
This kitchen has it all! Antique limestone floors in Dijon color, teak countertop on the large island, soft English floral fabric for valance on large window, double pendant shade island light fixture, creams and light yellows with a touch of green in vases, vanilla marble countertops and backsplash, rattan barstools with creamy leather seats, great natural light floods space, large open space to move about, brown and white/ cream dishes are a nice accent and work well with the English feel to kitchen.
This floor is antique limestone from Paris Ceramics.
Light Fixture is “Lyre Lantern (Double), part of Jacques Garcia for Baker.”
Stools are the “Barbara Barry Script Counter Stool” and the valence floral fabric is by “Hodsoll Mckenzie”.
Kitchen Dimensions: approximately 17′ x 19′.
Wall color is also Mayonnaise OC-85 by Benjamin Moore”.

Everything is so beautiful. It reminds me of Glabman’s furniture store in Costa Mesa. Sadly, they are no longer there, but it was an amazing store. My husband and I loved to go there when we were first “feathering our nest.”
