Designed by J Visser Design, this transitional small family home, located on the shores of Lake Michigan in Holland, showcases neutral coastal interiors with timeless architecture coupled with an elegant emphasis on outdoor living. The home’s warmth comes from an abundance of natural light highlighted by a mix of tactile and natural materials, including hand-planed hardwood floors and a color palette truly inspired by Lake Michigan.

You have to get creative if you live in a small house. Closet laundry rooms are a good option, especially if you want to have a laundry room on the second floor. This will save you space, money and make your life a little easier.

Hi Luciane…once again, love the post! Although a small home, it is outstanding. Cleverly designed.
I am with you, tomorrow is apple pie day as soon as work is over!
The home is lovely!
This home is so pretty – the architecture got me – the colour, the timber, the unusual style of the “rear” of the home – and yes, that picket fence 🙂 I made an apple pie last night, yum, with custard! We’re in Spring mood at the moment!
Such a beautiful home and well use of the small space 🙂 bunk beds r my favorite! I would love that magnetic board in mud room and can’t seem to find on pottery barn? Only think see that cones close is a 24 by 24 board? Did they use 2 together possibly?
