Located in Kitsilano – a very popular neighborhood of Vancouver, Canada – this small home was recently renovated by Simply Home Decorating.The interior designer created a living and dining space with a coastal feel to comfortably accommodate the growing family of four.
The starting point for the decor was the client’s treasured antique chaise and the scheme grew from there. The designers employed a few important space saving techniques in this room, which included building a banquette that doubles as storage and a footstool tucked under the coffee table, which can double as an extra seat.

Tucked away, this breakfast nook features a L-shaped banquette with custom cushion and Roman shades.
