Do you use your living room? That’s a question I like to ask because so many times we spend a great amount of money in it and rarely are we there to enjoy it. Is that the point? Is it a room only for special occasions or is it a room that you are able to sit in, be comfortable and take all the beauty in? I think a living room is almost like the “post card” of your house. It should be beautiful, it should have interesting pieces, it should be very organized and have some glamour to it, but more importantly, it has to be yours! It has to have your personality. That’s what makes me really enjoy a living room, to feel that the place belongs to the person I’m visiting and not feel that it was just a copy from a magazine cover.
Sitting & Chatting
Pillows can add so much to a living room, but don’t overdo it. Leave some space for the people to sit!

Remember that it doesn’t really matter what kind of living room you’re looking at when you go home, what matters the most is if you feel happy when you’re there. If you don’t feel too happy there yet, I hope you can feel inspired by the ones I’ve posted today, but this is just an “inspiration”. You have to do it your way, with the things you love and with what feels right for you.
I always say that you have to feel welcome in your own home and you just feel that way when you add your personal touch to it.
