Happy New Year!!! Wow! 2012 is just starting and I feel so excited about it! What are your plans for this year? What are your goals? I honestly have no plans and I want to live this year just like that. I want to welcome any positive changes and any blessings I may receive this year. I want to live every day without having a huge “to do” list waiting to be completed and I want be able to see and feel life being beautifully unfolded.
I hope you stick with me during this year, so we can share our experiences here. Are you up for it?
Talking about sharing, let me share my first post of 2012 with you. This West Vancouver (BC-Canada) waterfront home is located in the very prestigious Bellevue Avenue and real estate in this area is as premium as it gets. Yes, we’re talking about multi-million dollar homes and this one has a huge price tag too: $14.9 mil. I honestly recommend you to do as I often do when I see homes like this one: ignore the price and just dream a bit. Let’s do just that?
Water Views
The stunning home has unbelievable views of the Pacific.
Living Room
Classy and chic.
White Linen
White prevails in this living room.
Dining Room
The dinning room is connected with the living room and you can enjoy the ocean views from here also.
Style
Take a really good look at this dining room. The floors and built-ins are incredible. I often say that I prefer a more intimate dining room and nothing gives you more of a sense of intimacy with your guests than a round table.
Kitchen
Oh, so bright! I love the ceiling. It feels like a beach house, just how it should.
Sandy
The countertops are sand-inspired. Don’t you love the light fixture above the island?
Eating Area
Am I hearing you say “wow”?! Yep! This is simply fabulous! Pinterest, here we go!
Family Room
This house has all the main rooms open to each other, which is wonderful for entertaining, but hard to keep it organized. These built-ins are great to hide the clutter and keeping the room feeling neat.
Powder Room
Absolutely chic.
Upper Mezzanine
I think we all should give extra attention to upper mezzanines. You don’t need to live in a mansion like this one to have a great space. Any house deserves something that sparkles and make this often neglected space shine!
Sun & Stars
You don’t need too much in a room when you have this kind of architectural details.
Master Bedroom
What I love the most about this house is that the architect brought the beauty of a beach house in a very chic and fresh way.
Balcony
Imagine opening the doors of your balcony and see this!
Master Bathroom
I don’t think you can beat a bathroom with ocean views.
Moonlight
Just bring me a glass of champagne!
Girl’s Bedroom
What girl wouldn’t love to have a bedroom like this one, right?
Boy’s Bedroom
All Aboard!
The Back
Lovely, inside-out!
Outdoor Living Room
I know I shouldn’t say I’m speechless, but I truly am! This is simply my dream view!
City Lights
I can picture myself having dinner here. Sure, you’re invited!
Blue Skies
The house has a low maintenance garden and I really like that! 🙂
Ferries
Watch the ferries go by.
Rocking
A place to meditate to a good life.
Home Away From Home
I used to go to a beach right across this house when I lived in Vancouver. I used to seat on the rocks and look at that ocean and the sunset and think about life. It was more than 10 years ago and I miss this place so much. Vancouver is definitely one of the most beautiful city in the world.
Happy Colors
For two or more.
Sunset
Feeling the blessings of a beautiful day.
Luau
I’d invite some good friends for a fire on the beach. Could anyone bring a guitar?
I loved seeing the attention to detail of this place, including all the gorgeous light fixtures. Even if we can’t afford this home, I think we can take many great ideas found here and maybe apply to our own home. I hope you’ve enjoyed it too!
I want to thank you for being part of my life in 2011. I truly appreciate you being here, your emails and your support. 2011 was a really great year for me. As you know I gave birth to my 3rd child, and I also learned so much. I think I grew as a human being, became more aware of the good things that surround me, the good people I know and the many gifts God gave to me. And one of those things is this blog. It’s here where I share my thoughts and my heart. It would be pointless if you weren’t here, so I want to thank you for your friendship and for you choosing to be here. I feel honored and I really hope we can continue to grow together during this brand new year. May all of us be open to the evolution our soul needs to go through, let’s all be open to choose new paths when necessary or perhaps keep our feet firm where we are, but with new eyes. Let’s all learn the lessons we’re suppose to and share brightness and wisdom. Let’s all be open to achieve happier places in our lives, inspiring those around us. Let’s all share the best of what we have because this is one of the most important purpose of being alive.
Have a very Happy and Blessed New Year!

This IS a gorgeous home! My only criticism is that I think that the rock “mountain” on the ocean facing patio was a bit much. The floors, ceilings, grey glazed cabinets and views are the best!
Cheers!
Oh my! I think this is one of my favorites that you’ve shared, Luciane!
Happy New Year to you and your precious family!!!
This is a beautiful home, Luciane, especially the location and views. I wish you and your lovely family much happiness in 2012.
All the best…Victoria
LOVELY! Both this property and the young lady behind the blog!
*** Oh my gosh, Lucianne!!! THIS is a home that TRULY SPEAKS to me, right through and to my heart!!! For my husband and me, IT’S ALWAYS ABOUT THE VIEWS, and this, of course, has it in spades!!!-… And the FLOORS N’ CEILINGS … FABULOUS!!! The interiors have been thoughtfully done, with super and careful attention to detail, and the lack of clutter is ALWAYS a FAVE for me, ESPECIALLY at the beach!!!
What a lucky family to live there!!! I’m soooo glad you shared this TRULY FABULOUS HOME with us~~~ such a FUN way to start 2012!!!
THANK YOU too, for such an ALWAYS delightful blog!!!

Happy New Year to you and your growing family. If I buy this home you can come for the weekend. Kids or no kids.
My heart has just done a double back-flip, and I’m seeing stars! I am in LOVE with this view, and so many of the features within this home. I think it’s spectacular… and who doesn’t want a beach for a backyard! I bet Kaleigh, if I asked her nicely, would bring her guitar! What a great way to start 2012, Luciane! 🙂
This house just got more and more beautiful with every picture! I agree on the upper mezzanine and the master suite is amazing! I love how content with “taking life as it comes” Luciane – I admire that quality in you so much! I will try to follow your lead…:)
