The countertop perimeter is Caesarstone, color 4030H (Pebble) – a very soothing gray.

What I like about this kitchen is the fact that it blends many classic choices with a hint of contemporary – coming mostly from the stools and lighting- easy replacements should you want to change the style. The result is a space that feels fresh and youthful.

The first thing I would change in my kitchen would be to replace by lower cabinets with large drawers. I’m tired of getting on my knees to pull out everything in front, in order to reach a pot or bowl in the very back of cabinet. I enjoy your blog tremendously! We’re getting ready to build a new home and I’ve gotten so many ideas from you. Thank you for your research of paint colors, dimensions, etc. Good luck in selling your home! (I’ll be going through that process next year and I’m not looking forward to it.)
My kitchen cabinets are a dark red cherry wood, some of them have changed color depending where the sun has hit them. They are classic and my Hubs LOVES them. I dream of a creamy white kitchen….but I can’t complain they are dark but very nicely done, just not me
Funny i am not a huge gray fan but must say this is a beautiful kitchen….so fresh and happy!
Finally after THIRTY years I have a new kitchen…I am loving the “slate” color and integrated appliances…I happily live in this kitchen, etc. Integrated all the way!! franki
I actually love the grey colors in the kitchen. It always seems to make the colors pop (like pictured on the stove) and it has a really clean look! Nice job on the remodel!
