Many new kitchen renovation plans are in full motion around here. I have a client, whom I can call a friend of mine, that is in the final process of finalizing the paint for her kitchen cabinets. This is a project we worked on together last year and I can’t wait to share more with you guys soon. Having other interior design projects already in progress this year, I am also feeling in full motion and completely inspired. In fact, this white kitchen we are seeing today has inspired me to design a new island for yet another client of mine and it’s being currently built by the cabinet maker.
What I love the most about this u-shaped white kitchen is the simple inset cabinets and the clean lines that are beautifully enriched by the warm hardwood floors. You will also notice the timeless calcutta countertops and the pale gray ceramic tile backsplash. The overall look of this kitchen is timeless and current at the same time.
If you’re planning on renovating or designing your kitchen make sure to take notes on the designer’s picks for this white kitchen. I am sure they will come in handy!

The cabinets in this white kitchen are inset with a 13″ deep upper and a 24″ lower cabinet. They are beautifully accented with brushed nickel cabinet pulls alongside calcutta marble counters with a 3″x6″ Encore Silver Ceramic Tile backsplash. A stainless steel gas range stands at the far end of the space with a cabinet front hood with glass front accent cabinets to the right along with a dual basin sink with gooseneck faucet situated below the kitchen windows.
Wondering about the outlets? The outlets in this kitchen are all contained in the plug molding which is a series of outlets on a bar that is installed underneath the cabinets.
The Faucet is the Grohe Bridgeford and the sink is a Kohler Stainless Undertone.
The windows here are approximately 72″ long and 36″ high – it’s made up of 3 windows mulled together (see picture above).

Beautiful job, Luciane! There are so many wonderful details here.
Happy New Year! XO
You know we LOVED this kitchen – white is our favorite and the barstools are wonderful! So happy you squeezed in a little time for your – hope you enjoyed your croissant!
WOW! I love everything about that kitchen!
Can you please tell me who makes the tile for the backsplash??? I gave been looking everywhere for something just like that. Thanks!
Hello Cheryl.
I am happy you like the backsplash. This is a “3”x6″ Encore Silver Ceramic Tile”. Here’s the link http://encoreceramics.com/standard-field-sizes/
Have a great 2015!
Luciane
Lovely kitchen…however, I keep in mind the architecture of the house…a white kitchen in my white pine log cabin wouldn’t look right…to me. I did dark slate cabinets that recede (almost the color of the knots) since it is a small cabin. Antiqued glass fronts, burnished brass hardware, piano hinges…works for me!! franki
Je viens visiter votre blog depuis quelques temps et j’adore. De bonnes idées et de très belles photos. Félicitation!
Merci, Josée!
Luciane
