I have been a big fan of the kitchens Alice Lane Home Collection designs for quite some time now and you might remember seeing their name multiple times on the blog. Seeing them transforming an outdated kitchen into a beautiful and trendy white kitchen with navy blue island was refreshing and I couldn’t wait to share all of the details with you.
The homeowners bought this home for its gorgeous lake side views right outside their front door, but they didn’t love the home’s dated 90’s interior. They wanted something young and fresh, just like them, that would better suit their young growing family. The designers removed and added a few walls and completely reconfigured the kitchen so it would have a better working triangle.

Everything feels fresh and fun in this kitchen, from the classic coastal color palette to the popular Morris lanterns.

A zinc and aged brass kitchen hood contrasts beautifully against the white backsplash tile and white cabinets.

The perimeter cabinet paint color is “Benjamin Moore OC-17 White Dove”.
Counter Decor
All of the decorative elements found in this kitchen can be purchased on Alice Lane Home Collection‘s website. I especially like the stacked cheese boards.
Hardware
The designer placed one large cabinet pull in the middle of each drawer.
Recipe Books
You don’t need to have a specific place for your recipe books. Placing them on the counter brings color and beauty to your kitchen.
